Description

?McMagic? is a Carver Voyager pilothouse motor yacht. She is fully sound and better than new. Her LOA is 59? 8?? including the hydraulic swim platform, and her beam is 15? 5??. Draft is 5? 5?? and gross weight is 52,500 pounds. She has 3 staterooms and 2 full bathrooms. She is an excellent value at $1.1 million. The yacht is equipped for serious cruising. The engines are Volvo-Penta D12?675, electronically controlled diesels. They will drive the boat to a maximum speed of 27 knots, cruise at 22 knots, or hull speed of 10 knots. At 10 knots, the boat has a range of 650 nautical miles. Tankage is 800 gallons of diesel, 200 gallons of water, and 100 gallons of black water. The boat is equipped with a Spectra water maker, with produces 300 gallons per day. She carries a 23.0 KW Kohler generator, which will power everything on the boat at once, including air conditioning and the Jenn-Air double grill. She is equipped with a 10KW inverter, which will power the galley and all entertainment systems for 10 hours from the house battery bank. She is equipped with an oil change system tied to both mains as well as the generator. Ground tackle is excellent. McMagic carries a 60 pound plow on 200 feet of 3/8?? chain. This is controlled on a Maxell 800 windlass with foot controls at the windlass, as well as remote controls at both helm stations. Propellers and shafts are protected by spurs, and she carries spare props on board. McMagic is equipped with both bow and stern thrusters, with hardwired controls at both helm stations, as well as a wireless radio remote to aid in shorthanded docking. She is equipped with dual Cable masters to manage shore power with ease. McMagic is meticulously outfitted with the latest in marine electronics. The lower helm is managed by 2 Raymarine E series displays, with a dedicated camera display for aft docking or checking the engine room, as well as a Crestron touchpad to control all music and video selections in the pilothouse. The upper helm has a single E series display, and also with a dedicated camera monitor and a Crestron touch panel. The fully networked Raymarine system is equipped with AIS, Sirius weather, autopilot, wind instrumentation, and a wireless remote for the autopilot and one for the bow and stern thrusters. All the E series displays are wired to receive a video feed from any one of the 3 Direct TV receivers, so it is easy to keep an eye on the game while cruising. McMagic is well covered in the area of communications and connectivity. The base radio is the Ray 240 modular VHF fully networked via Seatalk, with stations at both the upper and lower helm. There is a second backup VHF, a Ray 54, also networked on the system so current coordinates are available for DSC distress calls. The second VHF is discreet to 12 volt power with its own antenna, so it is truly failsafe. In addition to VHF, the yacht is equipped with a digital cell amplifier and repeater, also with a dedicated antenna.

This same arrangement provides excellent coverage to the EVDO equipped network router, which provides both wired and wireless internet connectivity throughout the boat. McMagic has cruised from Boston to Cape May with available connectivity the entire trip, at speeds between 1 and 2 Mbps. The yacht is equipped with a KVH stabilized dome antenna that provides Direct TV satellite service into the Crestron controlled, ship-wide entertainment system. McMagic is equipped with a state of the art entertainment system that cost well in excess of $100,000. There are 7 televisions on the boat, and the E series displays can display video content as well. The system is able to meet the needs of diverse groups enjoying the boat at one time ? You can watch a baseball game on the aft deck, the news in the salon, a cooking show on the bridge deck, and separate movies or television shows in each of the three staterooms. There are three discreet TiVo satellite receivers, any of which can be watched from any television. There are two discreet IPod docks and that music can also be selected in any individual zone. The boat is truly designed for entertaining and family enjoyment. The yacht is equipped with a Zodiac YL 380 RIB as a tender. It is carried on the hydraulic swim platform. The tender is driven by a Honda 4 stroke, 40 hp outboard that will provide a maximum speed of 35 knots. While perfect for the utility jobs of a tender, it is great fun for tubing and wakeboarding. The tender is equipped with a VHF, chartplotter and fishfinder, and safely carries 5 adults. It is easily launched and retrieved by lowering the platform.
