ONE (1) owner yacht since new. ALL books & records are on the boat. She's still original- EVERYTHING WORKS but she falls into "project boat" category needing wax (been in Virgin Islands for years) , canvas, flybridge upholstery, scaling of all metal (note photos) new compass, new carpets, new bedding, comforters, etc., time for new hoses on engines, gen, and water and sewage systems. Nothing that a checkbook and time couldn't take care of. Compared to "Skipper" the 99 that I just sold which was a solid 9.5 on the scale, this boat is a 2.

Again 1/03/09 I recently did another through inspection on this vessel. I believe this vessel to be an excellent opportunity to buy a large yacht that's ready to go cruising now. IF you want her to shine like a new yacht, then throw some money at her(which and she then she will look like new IN & OUT! History of the vessel: Her current owner purchased her new in Seattle. He trucked her to Galveston, ran her on her bottom to Ft. Lauderdale, then put her on the Dock Express to St. Thomas where she lived for 10 years, then back on the Dock Express to Ft. Lauderdale where he had her in storage up the New River for many years until a year ago then back on Intracoastal. EVERYTHING works. She even has a watermaker which the owner properly pickeled.
NEEDS to be washed and waxed 'big time'!
Her Aluminum air intakes for the engine room have corrosion and need to be scaled and repainted.
As of 3/08, the vessel has been moved from her freshwater location to the Intracoastal on Salt water. NOW her aluminum window frames are showing corrosion and need to be repaired.
She needs new Bimini top, cockpit cushions, cockpit upholstery (it's original and ok, but outdated and dirty) and new covers for all.
Her interior shows VERY WELL. Her original carpet in salon is excellent. Her upholstery is excellent. Her headliner is excellent. Her interior lights are excellent (no pitting). Her carpet in the stairway and bedrooms should be changed out due to wear patterns.
Her bedding, etc., should be changed out due to age. Her vinyl is bubbling at several places in stateroom and hallway, which is not unusual for a Bayliner and is an easy fix. A good cleaning of her woodwork with polishing would be nice. The mirror in the master stateroom needs to be replaced due to "ghost shadows" caused by what I have no ide
On her flybridge- the compass has corrosion on it, the steering wheel does too. Replace them both unless you like to wire brush and paint and polish. Cheaper to replace.
Engine room is quite decent! Spare shaft. Engines are clean. Batteries could use covers. Generator needs sound shield. Personally I would steam clean the engine room just to make it bright white again. Note; The lifts for the engine room hatch were fine and held strong. Lazarette is cluttered and dirty. Sound shield is off the Gen.
I think this is a excellent buy (if price low enough) for someone who will take the effort to do the work she needs. Please look at the detailed and extensive photos which tells the story. ONE OWNER SINCE NEW- EVERYTHING WORKS.
